These instructions apply to the abutofu Android app.
How do I recover from a recognition failure?
Start with a clear, complete image. Tap “Nine-grid alignment” and drag the four corners before recognizing again, or enter the row and column counts manually and retry. If the result is still poor, choose the image again or save it manually and recognize it from your gallery.
How do I create a pattern?
In the pattern library, tap New. Choose an image from your gallery to recognize, use “Pixelate image” to turn an ordinary image into a bead pattern, or create a blank pattern and draw it yourself.
What should I check in the recognition result?
Recognition is provided as an aid. Check low-confidence cells, color-code clusters and the pattern statistics. If a color code is wrong, edit cells one by one on the review screen before generating the pattern. Check everything again before making, buying materials or publishing.
What are the basic editor controls?
The editor includes move, brush, eraser, line, rectangle, paint bucket and eyedropper tools, plus undo, redo, mirror, double-tap zoom and pinch-to-zoom and pan. Move is selected by default, so dragging the canvas does not change the pattern accidentally.
What is beading mode?
Beading mode hides editing tools and focuses on viewing and matching the physical beads. It shows row and column numbers, cell color codes and the pattern’s actual color statistics, with color highlights, guide grid lines, counting aids, block mode and color-code sorting.
How do I use layers?
Open the Layers panel in the editor to manage bead and image layers. You can reorder, show or hide, copy, delete and merge layers. Select an image layer to move, scale, crop or erase it.
How do I export a pattern?
Tap Export in the editor to export a high-resolution image, PDF or bead list using the available options. You can choose whether to show color codes, guide grid lines and a left-right mirror. Check the direction, dimensions and statistics first.
How do I use the bead inventory?
Beads records MARD color-code inventory. A regular user can create one warehouse and a VIP user up to ten. Add or edit the quantity in each bag, import color codes from a pattern, compare them with a pattern and deduct stock after confirmation.
How does the invitation activity work?
The invitation page shows progress toward ad-free access for three people, a four-character uppercase invite code, copy, share and QR code options. An invite code lasts 72 hours; successfully counted progress is not cleared when a code expires or the activity ends. This activity is expected to end on December 31, 2026; the in-product rules control.
What does signing in do?
After signing in, you can use the same account across the web, iOS, Android and WeChat Mini Program to access your account profile and available cloud content. You can use supported local creation, editing and export features without signing in.
What is cloud sync?
Cloud sync is local-first: patterns are saved on the current device, remain viewable and editable offline, and then align with the cloud and other devices when connected. Cloud sync requires a signed-in account and an active VIP benefit.
What does cloud sync include?
It syncs pattern data, folders, names, locations and actions such as moving, renaming and deleting, so you can continue on another device. Sync is not your only backup; keep a separate reliable local backup for important patterns.
What if sync fails or there is a conflict?
A sync failure normally keeps local changes. When connected, sync can retry automatically or you can tap Cloud to sync manually. If two devices edit the same pattern, the app tries to preserve both versions and asks you to keep one or split them into two patterns.
Can local patterns be lost?
Local patterns are stored on the current device. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app can make them unrecoverable, and changing devices does not move local data automatically. Export or back up important patterns promptly.
How do snapshots work?
Snapshots save historical versions. Open the Snapshots panel, name and save the current version. With automatic snapshots enabled, one is saved every 15 minutes while editing and when leaving the editor. The list shows the pattern name, thumbnail and time. “Copy to current folder” creates a new pattern without overwriting the original. Snapshots require a signed-in account and an active VIP benefit; after membership expires, you can view and delete existing snapshots, but restoring one requires renewal.
Can I use cloud sync after membership expires?
You can download existing cloud content after membership expires, but cannot upload new changes. Existing local patterns are not deleted. Renew VIP to restore upload and snapshot restoration; ad-free access does not include cloud sync.
Does lifetime VIP really last forever?
“Lifetime VIP” means that while the purchasing account remains active and the product continues to operate, you receive the lifetime VIP core benefits listed on the purchase page without paying the same recurring subscription again. It does not mean that the product or any individual cloud service exists forever. If we stop core paid services for our own operational reasons, we will provide a lawful and fair arrangement such as data migration or export, a functional alternative or a reasonable refund.
How do I delete my account?
In Profile, below Sign out, choose Delete account and verify again through an existing sign-in method. All sign-in methods and cloud business content will be removed, while required audit records are retained. Local patterns, images, progress and inventory associations become a guest workspace. Automatic renewals are not canceled by deleting an account; manage subscriptions through the purchase channel first.
How do I report a problem?
Open “Me” → “Send feedback” and include the steps, observed behavior, pattern type, device and operating system version. Contact information is optional.
